In the third quarter of 2024, the horror game genre on the Android platform in Oceania showcased intriguing trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, the top five horror games exhibited varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Hide in The Backrooms: Horror by CASUAL AZUR GAMES saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly revenue, starting at $12 in early July and experiencing ups and downs to settle at $4 by the end of September. Downloads began at around 2.5K, peaked at 3.5K in the second week of July, and gradually decreased to approximately 1.5K by the quarter's end. However, active users showed a positive trend, increasing from 21.8K in early July to 26.4K by the end of September.

Granny, developed by DVloper, maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 1.3K and rising to 1.6K by the end of the quarter. Active users also increased steadily from 4.1K to 5K throughout the quarter.
